Thank you to all of those who have already supported our 2021 fundraising campaign https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/UWCGBFullScholarship2021 which is aiming to build the funds to enable at least one Full Open Scholarship to a United World College starting in 2022. So far we have raised just over £4,000 of our £20,000 target.

We estimated we would need to raise at least £20,000 each year ahead of the 2022 entry to create a full scholarship for a student who would otherwise not have been able to contemplate taking up a place at UWC.

The COVID pandemic has meant we have had little ability to create, or join in, the traditional fundraising type events, so instead we have focused on networking and online communication to raise awareness and encourage the support we need to reach our target

As with last year, please do offer your time and support to help us grow this campaign further.  Hugh Davies (hugh@uwcgb.org) who is managing the campaign would be delighted to hear from you if you are able to join him in growing this side of the work of UWCGB as we start the process of selecting our students for 2022.
